Taking into account the experience of different countries in the fight against global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a special quarantine regime continues in the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the country and its possible consequences.

During the quarantine period, like many other state bodies, the Intellectual Property Agency continues its activity in online regime. At the same time, applications for registration of copyright objects, which are of special importance in terms of protection of intellectual property rights, are received through the e-government portal, and claims for industrial property are received via e-mail.

Employees of the Agency always pay attention to mutually beneficial relations with international organizations, to improve their professional skills using the opportunities provided by them. Several employees of the Agency who have recently participated in and successfully completed distant learning courses organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) have been granted WIPO certificates.
