" Film Directors Guild of Azerbaijan "Public Union, which has passed state registration at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, applied for re-registration (accreditation) at the Intellectual Property Agency in accordance with the legislation.

The documents and information submitted by the Guild in connection with the application were analysed in the Agency in accordance with the copyright legislation. By the decision of the Agency's Accreditation Commission, a decision was made to re-accredit the "Film Directors Guild of Azerbaijan ".

It should be noted that, according to the third part of Article 41 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Copyright and Related Rights" and “Rules of registration (accreditation) of organizations managing property rights of authors and owners of related rights on a collective basis" approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 149 dated September 22, 2011, public union managing property rights of authors and owners of related rights on a collective basis must be registered (accredited) in the Intellectual Property Agency
